Keith E. was born in South Central Los Angeles and arrived with his eyes open. Singing since age two, he captivated friend and family with songs from Saturday morning cartoons. Pure comedy at times, he entertained students throughout elementary and Jr. High with the climax of his shows ending up in the principal’s office. In the ninth grade he was transplanted to Forrest City, Arkansas. Upon arrival, they immediately placed him in speech and drama. His vocal ability landed him in choir and his school stood behind him in plays and concerts until his graduation. A preacher''s kid, he was the highlight of his father''s ministry. The African Methodist Episcopal Church featured him in many of their regional and connectional meeting throughout the US. His desire to sing R&B landed him in the Navy Band for a brief tour.
Keith E. disappeared off the music scene confused as whether to perform Gospel or R&B. After creating juvenile justice programs and working with youth for many years he has returned with a new age R&B/Gospel/Hip Hop message in his music. Singing, rapping, and producing Keith E. is setting a pace to change the World through his music.
