Jacquelyn has been writing original music since she was about ten years old, on a serious level. She does recall spending time composing on the piano, even at the age of four. She has six siblings, all of whom were required to take piano and other musical instrument lessons, but after seeing that they all seemed to pick up sight-reading more quickly than she, she opted to just "make up" her own music, instead of battling with all of those little notes other people had put all over the pages.
Jacquelyn, also known as JJMeyers, has composed music in every genre from classical to what listeners have deemed disco. She even has a western cowboy song or two. She loves using music as a vehicle for humans to bond to, to heal from, and to entertain themselves with. Her little ones have enjoyed dancing around the house to her more exuberant pieces. She loves the spiritual, she loves the deep, and she loves love. These things shine through her work, as does her love for people and nature and God.
