Soul Medication is a journey through musical style and life experience- featuerd artists on "Soul Medication include Studio One great-General Smiley, Jahworks the Revolutionary, Ishence, Soulifted, and Ras Attitude.
Recently, Soulmedic was featured on several singles including "Find Jah" off the first release from Itation Records- "Higher Meditation Riddim" featuring veteran singers- Freddy McGregor, Wayne Wonder, Sizzla, Tony Rebel and more. Released summer 2008 was "Gather the Remnant" - a compilation from Conscious Riddems Records including Lucanio, Jah Mason, Midnite, and Michael Rose; The single -"Calling Jah Youth" from Soulmedic is included in this stellar lineup. Soulmedicʻs single "Sound Weapon" was Released 2008 as part of the "Frontline" compilation from Lion Sound Productions featuring artists like Lutan Fiyah, Kari Kill, and President Brown. The 2007 release -"Look to the East" featured a song from Soulmedic and was remixed as a single for Jah Kebra Music in 2007, produced by popular Hip Hop artist- Immortal Technique. January 2008 mix- "Fiyah Bounce", hosted by Soulmedic, and mixed by DJ7 was a trip into the dancehall with the hardest new riddems, singers and DJ’s in the buisness and 7 exclusive new tracks from Soulmedic. Mountain Lion HiFi''s- DJ Christafari presented Soulmedic in his mix of 2008. In 2007 Soulmedic hosted and featured 6 exclusive songs on Jah Kebra Mix. 1, Mixed by Selecta Kung Fu of Purefiya Sound.
Born to a German immigrant mother and California native father- Soulmedic was raised in Southeast Asia, California and Florida and now resides in Hawaii and Northern California. Exposure to different cultures and musical styles greatly influenced Medic in his childhood- from Reggae, Hip Hop, and R&B to Malaysian, Philipino, Indian and Chinese folk music.
