Details:
''DCT'' is a spirited compilation of heartfelt songs rendered by this Taos, NM native between 1999 and 2002. Primarily autobiographical, this album spans the gamut of human experience: celebrating love, admitting imperfection, grieving 9/11, giving thanks for the "little things", etc. This debut effort is a tribute to all those that inspired the artist-- from lovers & those that left to hopes for the future. Significant influences include: Jewel, Joni Mitchell, Ani Difranco, Sarah McLauchlan, Indigo Girls, Tracy Chapman, local legands Adam/Rivr Haley and the band ''Cradle'' as well as many, many others.

What others have said about ''DCT''/ET:
"While she has her share of songs about love and love lost, her poetic sensibilities lift them above the commonplace.

It is her voice which makes her truly remarkable. It is clear and gently compelling, whether she is fondly recalling the wonder and no-time-but-now feeling of a first night with a loved one or the struggle of helping to raise a younger sibling.

"Not surprisingly, much of her original work is autobiographical.... Describing her songwriting as a ''process of alchemy,'' Trujillo will sometimes write a song without realizing she''s just recreated a moment from her own life."
-- Eric J. Hedlund, The Hum (Taos News), "Diamond in the rough"

**The artist apologizes in advance to all the German speakers who might catch the slight error of pronunciation in the first stanza of ''Was Es Ist'', beautifully written by Erol M. Boran, German poet, philosopher & teacher... one of these days, perhaps there will be a remake!!
