Hi,my name is Ian and my new C.D. is called Acadian Genes
because I''m Acadian and as far as I can tell the first
in my family tree(s) to produce a full sized album with original fast(and slow) rocks tunes. I live near Halifax N.S. and therefore there are songs that mention the sea, sand and good times .
I''m a history/reader type and some songs were influenced by novels,articles and other related books which I''ve enjoyed. For instance Sable Sand was penned right after reading a book about the horses living on the island.
Music has always been my number one thing and although this album is electric I also jam a lot on acoustic and even busk down on the water front and meet and talk with people who arrive on cruise ships from all over the world.
I could go on and on about the CD but I just hope you enjoy this musical offering that I am soooo happy to finally have completed, as a few of the songs have been drifting around on paper for years!
