A small town, southern born & raised, faith valued, north Texas gal. Where the love of an agricultural background and good country music, run strong and deep. She began her "official" singing career at the age of 3yrs old. Her Mom had her singing with her in church on Sundays and presented the special music in the Sunday morning services. Originally, just old enough to stand in front of a mirror, hold a plastic microphone, and sing to the music, is all it took to light a fire for the love of music and dancing. During the "raisin" years, she sang to the crowds at the livestock shows, local talent competitions, to speaking & performing before a convention of 10,000+ FFA, true blue, members! It didnt take long to learn....she LOVED to https://www.tradebit.com, it also didnt take too terribly long to learn, that she love her ag roots and faith driven foundation. Raised in a ranching family and rural school environment, she found a great place to grow up loving livestock, showing, and Texas FFA. Her family, faith, ag friendships and relationships, have so sweetly molded and shaped the person of today...and continue to shape my heart, her music and her dreams. Influenced over the years by a varied range of music from Gospel to Contemporary Christian, Country-Young, Old, & Red Dirt, Pop, and Rock, she find myself loving the real life stories and life experiences expressed thru Red Dirt Music. She loves to sing. She loves to write. And she loves to share of her life. She is working to persue and perfect her craft, and absolutely LOVING every step.
She attended college as a proud Sam Houston State University Bearkat for a while, she is a proud Oklahoma State University cowboy as well!!! She credits Stillwater and the famous Washington Street for making her fall in love with music all over again. Being able to play with many great artist such as Nick Gibson, Gib Stone, Cale Lester, Chad Sullins, Chance Anderson really let her open up to writing and singing again. "Those boys taugh me so much, I cant ever thank them enough for those years", she states. "I can not go without crediting Steve Rice of No Justice for the great advice, time, wisdom, and basic lessons of what this industry is and what it can be. I never touched a guitar until talking to Steve. He is an amazing musician, person, father, and friend. He taughed me really, you can have it all and I have not ever seen anyone balance as well as he does. For that I am greatly appreciative of him."
After leaving school and moving to California for a while, Lenzi realized how much she missed her Texas roots and singing. After competing in the Colgate Country Challenge and making it to regionals, it was a wake up call to stick to what she loved. Since then it has all taken off. She has been blessed to be able to interact with some amazing Texas musicians and open up for or preform suchs acts at Johnny Cooper, Dustin Perkins, Oliver White, Tom McElvain, Chris Fuentes, Cee Cee Cross, Two Bar Town, Brian Milson, Colton Gilbreth, LeAnn Hart, Ben Smith, Scotty Thurman, Scott Shelby, Chad Hammock, Christan Sawyer and many more.
"Let me say this about those people that I have played with, I have more respect for those that do what they love and respect others for it. I am blessed to be surrounded by so much talent. Not only that, this "job" had turned into family. I have learned so many different and amazing things from all of these people. I have always wanted my worlds to colide, from the stockshow, college, and music. I feel I am the most blessed girl in the world and if I can do what I love everyday and it touches someone because my life experiences are theirs as well, then I did what I feel I am called to do. Sometimes there is just that song that you hear and go "thats it!" That is what I strive to do everyday. No matter if its laughter, heartbreak, confusion, clarity, or just a make you feel great song, thats what its all about to me."
Day by day, with God''s direction, she knows thats He has a road for her to follow.
