Annie''s first fully-produced CD was recorded in Nashville with her husband, award-winning film and television composer and producer, Greg Sims, at the helm. He brought onboard several Grammy-winning session musicians and composed string arrangements for the CD which were played by "The Nashville String Machine". Annie''s professionalism shined through and the entire project was recorded ahead of schedule in only six days.
The CD was soon discovered by British personal manager John Allen, who signed Annie and brought her to the UK and Ireland for several tours to promote the album live onstage and on BBC Radio. She performed at such hallowed halls as Dublin National Concert Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic and the London Palladium. The British audience fell in love with Annie''s beautiful voice and charming personality. They especially loved the fact that Annie covered several hit songs on the CD including "Sweet Music Man" by Kenny Rogers and "Wildflowers" by Dolly Parton. The CD ends poignantly with covers of Janis Ian''s "Through the Years" and Beth Nielsen-Chapman''s "Say Goodnight", which Annie closed her concerts with nightly.
The "Annie" CD was re-mixed, re-mastered and re-packaged for Aspirion Records Nashville in 2007, and the single "Everything I Know About Leavin''" was released in the U.S. and charted on the much sought-after Music Row report. The success of this CD led Annie to record a follow-up Country CD entitled "Half the Moon", also released on by Aspirion on their "Infinity" sub-label.
