Amalgamated Artistry is a concept studio group consisting of Producer ''Mr Oldshirts'' & vocalist ''K-Tron''. In addition, Amalgamated Artistry incorporates the talents & skills of fellow musicians & producers from a range of backgrounds with a variety of musical understandings. The music draws from a number of different genres using a wide variety of sounds both analog & non-organic, collected & self-recorded at a home-based studio in Adelaide. The music has also been designed to be replicated in a live format. However, to this point the main focus of Amalgamated Artistry has been centered around developing the right mix of sounds within the studio. Amalgamated artistry has previously been featured in the ''Artist Spotlight'' section of the triple J (Australia''s main alternative youth radio station) "unearthed" website & received jjj airplay for the song ''Just Wanted'' in 2008. In addition to regular rotation on community radio stations Australia-wide . "Robosapien" is Amalgamated Artistry''s first official release after a two year recording period. The songs are both diverse and mature, with catchy melodies composed by Mr. Old Shirts complimented by the powerful harmonised lyrical stylings of seasoned professional vocalist ''K-Tron''.
