Setting a new tone with roots, Woje uses different spices from the world''s cupboard (Erhu, Banjo, mandolin, didgeridoo, djembe, bongos, rubbish bins, etc.) to concoct the tasty styling''s that whet the listeners appetite through this rootsy, ethnic, dynamic, rhythmic group.

David Woje has been writing and performing in the United States and in Australia since 2003. In 2008, he toured around Queensland raising awareness of the Slave Trade in the world. In the beginning of 2009, he started his own project on raising awareness about injustice and inspiring people to action.

Performing as a solo acoustic artist or with his band of 3, he has shared the stage with Steve Grace, Fatis Valour, Two Steps From Home, The Short List, The Medics, Five Star Streets, Wonderland, Saving Sparrow, Red Ruth, Dave Saxby and others.

In 2010, Woje won the award for “Best Band To Use Non Musical Items To Make Music” from touring with the YWAM Australian/ Papua New Guinea Ship Tour. From Ballina to Cairns he raised awareness about the incredible need in PNG and called listeners to make a difference by encouraging them to get involved to help with the humanitarian work they are involved with through Youth With A Mission.

Their first project "Ignite" focused on issues of humanitarian injustices with a raw and gritty sound.

Their new project, "Woje" including a full length album, will be complete by the beginning of 2011 with hints of bluegrass, chinese folk, and roots.

Woje uses their music to share hope and life as well as providing opportunity to have the listener than share their hope and life to those who need it.
