Ron Vignec.
He is recognized as leader in the community with support
from the Tacoma Ministerial Alliance, The Black CollecCve,
NAACP, Urban League.
He is a songwriter and performer with over 25 plus years of
recording experience in Hip Hop. Mr. Stone is also an
original pioneer of Hip Hop Music in the Northwest daCng
back to 1980’s. He has recorded several albums over the
last 20 years with much underground success and has loyal
street following in the Northwest..
Lawrence has been called by God to take the gospel to prisons, prosCtutes, pimps, gangs and
restore hope to the generaCon of men and women impacted by drugs and violence
He has opened for arCst such as Ice T, Master P, E‐40, DJ Red Alert, Real Roxanne.
At eighteen years old aer graduaCng from high school his life took a turn to selling cocaine. and
gang banging. He became one of the original founding Tacoma blood gang members in Tacoma
gang history. While recording a album with Grammy award winning producer Kenny Lamar in
1997 he was arrested for drug trafficking in Redding California and sentenced to three years in
prison. Lawrence understands the impact of gang violence being assaulted first hand. He has
been shot, stabbed and witness the fatal results of several close friends.
Since being released from prison May of 2000 he has accomplished the following achievements:
Washington State Champion of Mentoring Bank of America Hero Award, College Degree
Bachelors of Arts, CerCfied Professional Mediator, NaConal and InternaConal Speaking/
Trainings for World Vision, Tacoma Public Schools Volunteer.
Schools A2ended: Tacoma Community College, Evergreen State, Faith Evangelical Lutheran
Seminary.
Mentored three young men to college and helped numerous young people.
