The year 2010 marks a new era in Dominican popular music in the city of New York.
The occasion cements the formation of a new musical phenomenon of the moment, "Malicia Tipika".
Created jointly by the renowned businessman Jose Perrone and Winston De Jesus, a Dominican producer with a great musical background. This young group combines typical Dominican music with other genres such as Techno, House, music, Hip-Hop, Rap, Cumbia, Tex-mex, bachata, among others. The group is composed of young guys with a vast musical background and experience.
With their first promotional song "Confessions", which was released in whole United States and Latin American , taking the top spots on the Latin Radio charts and being one of the biggest hits of the country. Following the same musical design unveiled the song “No puedo olvidarla” ( "I can not forget"), written by Joan Lora, accordionist of the group, which managed to climb the top radio charts of the north area of New York, Boston, Lawrence, Rhode Island, Connecticut, among others. But the song that has been a great sensation and caused euphoria in the population because of the music and lyrics quality is, "Nina Bonita" performed by Junior Quezada and written, composed, produced and arranged by Winston De Jesus, featuring the performance of "Sandy MC" , former member of the duo "Sandy And Papo MC." This song was originally recorded in cumbia and MALICIA TIPIKA ‘s boys wanted to adapted and make a new version of it.
The Voices of MALICIA TIPIKA are Junior Quezada , also known as "Sexy" Junior ", who sing the songs of romantic mood, and who with his fresh, and sweet voice has charmed the popularity and girls who love this genre .
Joan Lora, accordionist of the group, is also one of the writter of several songs of the album, such as the hit "No Puedo Olvidarla" (I can not forget her), “Si no estas conmigo, Fet. Sandy Mc” (If you’re not with me), “Si yo pudiera” (If I could).
Joel Vasquez, who has a voice defined as interpretative quality for singing getto -style songs , such as the song "La Vida es Asi" (That’s the way life is ) “La Chica de mi Escuela” (The girl from my school), “Amarte es escencial” (Love you is escential), “Cigarro y vino” (Cigar and wine), “Vamo’a beber” (Let’s get drunk), among others.
