Who are the mad men in The Stumblebums? Smidge Malone, a Puerto Rican punker with a bleached Mohawk from Queens, is a trumpet virtuoso whose vocals sound like the bastard child of Louis Armstrong and Tim Armstrong. From North Carolina comes the only Jewish drummer ever to be born in captivity, Jonny Ballz. Disco Ronnie, the Jersey white trash trailer park pimp, pumps out non-stop madness on the tuba. Together the three Stumblebums create a manic wall of musical sleaze.
