Something has gone wrong with the judgment of the dead! Pluto, king of the underworld, leads a delegation to Olympus to seek assistance from Zeus, who installs three of his own sons on the judges’ thrones, and forbids mankind any advance knowledge of departure from earth. The three new judges then prove their virtue by judging three of the newly dead and the entire company celebrates as justice rules once again in the realm of gods and men.
