2010 has been an incredible year for Sheila, Andrea and Theresa. Although Kindred has been working together for eight years, putting the CD together has "solidified the work" . Each song has a story.
And The Angels Came was taken from a poem by Sheila Ross. Theresa felt the music just fall onto the keys and the lyrics along side. The first time we performed it was for the Haiti Concert put on by
Jenny Taylor and Anita Anderson. Rebecca Ross created the PowerPoint you will see on Youtube. The song and video are available now on the AirdrieLife Magazine site as well as https://www.tradebit.com
God Bless The Child (Christmas Eve) was inspired by participating in events like Samaritan''s
Purse Shoe Box event and watching organizations like the Airdrie Food Bank and The Mustard Seed do such great work in their communities. Truly, "Where will they go for Christmas, if no one ever sees the homeless and the child." The album is called Kindred Hearts. That''s who we are. We seem to be attracted to others who are making things count in their communities.

Keep watching the web and you may see a few of your creations pop up. Kindred began with Theresa and Sheila singing together for the folk club, Days Ride North (as in -a days ride north of Calgary). Soon the duo moved to producing shows for community events and schools, recording together and then... there were three. Andrea Morton joined to do the Big Band Series and complete the Andrews Sisters material. Three was right and Kindred was born.
