good old hard rock sound
good intro. guitar amps have a good old school sound and style. i like the gravel voice. when not in the gravel pit, try to prodject your voice more, so it doesn''t sound thin. flat in a couple of places too, auto tune it. i like the contrast of some guitar leads between vocals. i like the melody. all the song parts are equally interesting, not many have that. the bass could be louder, adding to the good punch drive you already have. good song, tweek it alittle, maybe more people will hear it, on the radio!
Wicked phaser guitar. That thing is a Monster Magnet bullet to the head. Devilishly heavy. The beat is cool as well, but the drum sounds a little too tight, or maybe too far away. I''d try to bring it up in the mix or add some low end to it. AS for the vocals, Judas Priest all the way. Old skool metal baby. I dig that. No one''s doing that these days. I like the idea of the doubled vocal on "keep rolling" but it didn''t work for me. The tones don''t mess. I''d suggest a different effect of some sort - try the megaphone. I love that break at 2:30, the militant march makes me want to break my furniture.
