Mississippi Valley Therapeutic Horsemanship (MVTH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering therapeutic riding to children and adults living with disabilities. Therapeutic riding helps them achieve greater physical strength and flexibility while working on communication skills and developing emotionally-rewarding bonds with horses.
This CD project was intended to give those who have difficulty communicating with others a chance to express themselves in a special way: through music. We leveraged each rider''s specific strengths and interests as they overcame barriers and recorded creatively. Local artists followed by composing, collaborating and contributing their own musical impressions. What emerged was something much more special than anyone had imagined. This was truly a labor of love. The riders definitely had something to say. We hope you enjoy it.
