“Welcome to a new chapter of my life in music: Happiness and Tears. This is my second solo album. When I came up with the title early in 2009, I had no idea how fitting it would be considering what was to come in the months following.
My life has gone through significant changes in the last two years; some bringing joy and happiness, others bringing fear, great loss, suffering and many tears. To me, such feelings can drive the creation of music, and the music may in turn evoke such feelings. So, like no other art, music can really connect us. It speaks to us on a very basic and human level. And I hope that the music on this album speaks to you, my friends, and that you enjoy it, too..”
