Transtulit is a 12-song LP written, arranged, and produced by Alex Pellish with Rich Freitas and Mat Tarbox.
Recorded at Silas Deane Studio in CT, Transtulit features contributions from six stellar artists: Julia Farrar, Dawn Salerno, and The Reducers'' Hugh Birdsall each contributing vocals, Dave Bentley and Don Miguel on bass guitar, and Luke Hunter and Hugh Birdsall playing electric guitar.
Their goal was to make a record that mixes the soulfully engaging backbone of a rock band, with the rhythmic elasticity of house and electro - a record that would be innovative and not adhere to any preconceived genre, while being approachable and passionate.
