This album was like the final state of evolution to me. Kind of like the finalization of my style that I''ve worked to create since I was 14yrs old. Each album that I create has a specific character assigned to it, who in turn expresses that mood or genre needed to enhance the music to the fans. This album is Johnny Green who has always been a part of my characteristics at different times. I feel everyone has multiple personalities that we express at different times depending on our moods, but I chose to express that through the music. This album has a more jazzy, melodic, laid back sound allowing the listener to ride to it and chill or relax, instead of the constant rap or hip hop crunkness that is presented by majority of hip hop artists. Like Devin the Dude, Common, Eightball and MJG, or Too Short, I tried to capture that same feeling. Enjoy!
