Residing in Long Beach, California, no one city has the privilege of calling itself Rymz Well''s hometown. Rymz and his single mother bounced around from city to city in search of opportunity and better living before settling on Long Beach''s eastside. At 17, a young Rymz Well left home to try his hand in Washington, D.C. attending Howard University. Though only in school for two semesters, Rymz stayed on the east coast for three more years. Submerged in the jungle, that is D.C., Rymz found the perfect inspiration and canvas to paint his vivid depictions of real life.
Rymz Well received a quick education in music industry disappointment when he joined the Baltimore based group - the 730 Commission. After a three-city tour, over 15,000 records sold in the streets and numerous appearances on local television hip hop shows all proved fruitless. Rymz Well returned home to make things happen for himself on familiar ground. Now back in the comfort of familiarity, Rymz Well has set out on a mission to return Hip Hop to its true identity: old school tradition and wisdom paired with modern day relevance. Likened to the story telling skill of Slick Rick and the lyrical versatility of a young nasty Nas, Rymz Well possesses the charisma and talent to silence the hateful critics, put at ease the mind of hip-hoppers everywhere and one day elevate himself to the ranks of great Emcees before him.
