Stupid’s Arrow is a collection of my work that dates back as early as 2003. I started performing a number of these songs back in 2004 with my then Band the Arcanes.
When the Arcanes broke up in 2005 I continued to write & record music for a little while before becoming disillusioned with more or less everything musical. By 2007 I had over 100 songs recorded on a hard drive that I fully intended to let waste away.
It was only in 2010 when I was encouraged by a close friend to enlist the services of Local Peter James to attempt to re-master a number of my original recordings. We set to work on 63 songs which we managed to eventually reduce to 29 and then finally 11, the result being Stupid’s Arrow.
My main motivation to release this Album is to allow me to let go of the past (get this monkey off my back) and move forward in a new direction. That aside, I still feel these songs have stood the test of time having never fully reached their potential.
Stupid’s Arrow contains material that should entertain a wide ranging audience. Hope you Like it.
