Details:
I graduated from Duke University Medical School in 1971 as one of the first 40 Physician Assistants in America. Now there are forty THOUSAND. I worked for most of forty years as Physician Assistant. All the while I was writing songs.

I took about ten years out to start a career as a Hollywood motion picture and television actor and appeared in such shows as "Hill Street Blues" and movies such as "Down And Out In Beverly Hills" and "Twins" and "Under Fire" and "Red Heat" and "Internal Affairs". All the while I was writing songs.

And performing. I opened with various band incarnations for such varied acts as Etta James and Eddie Money to Frankie Beverly and Maze and many others in venues ranging from the Hollywood Bowl to the Waikiki Shell Auditorium to Chicago''s McCormack Place, from the Troubadour in Los Angeles, to At My Place in Santa Monica.

In late 2010, I retired from working as Physician Assistant and recorded my first CD at the RudeLab in Minnesota with my good friends Annie McLoone and Tom Moncrieff. That CD is entitled "Sing N 4U", available here at CD Baby. It features the great David Woodford (Jerry Lee Lewis, Etta James) on sax and Tom Moncrieff (Buckingham Nicks, Walter Egan, Surf Nation and Fast Annie) on guitar. The CD was produced by Tom Moncrieff and Annie McLoone (Fast Annie, Walter Egan, Rob Grill and Surf Nation)

On that CD , you will find as eclectic a mix of songs as you are likely to ever hear on one CD by one guy. Rockin'' Chicago Blues, beautiful slow ballad love songs, a cussless rap song, a family anthem... All the songs were written and sung by me - except for the co-write with Fast Annie on "Colored Folks Can''t Have Nuthin''". Don''t play it if you don''t feel like dancing. And you can hear all the words, too. But Wait! There''s More!

There''s ANOTHER CD in the RudeLab that has all the vocals completed and all of the rhythm tracks done and that is just some horn parts and mixing away from being CD Number Two. I wrote and sang that one, too. But Wait! There''s More!
I am right in the middle of selecting the songs for CD Number Three. Curiously, one of the songs on that CD is entitled, "But Wait! There''s More!" And, yes, I wrote and sang them suckers, too. I''m also busy polishing up a screenplay that I wrote and  finishing Book One of my autobiography and writing a book of poems.

Other than that, I''m just sitting around watching my thumbnails grow.
