An organic, live-sounding album, Decoding the Illusion is a reaction to the barrage of negative signals we receive each day in modern society. The endless corporate slogans, the myriad of false idols, the political actors that have elected themselves to dictate our fortunes and the out-dated religions which try to make us feel guilty for being who we are.
Its goal is to raise awareness and consciousness. To help unite people by breaking these negative patterns and neutralise the widespread fear-fuelled mass media control, by spreading positive vibrations to the population.
Its creation has been a two year-long, labour of love for UK producer Sam Green:
"The whole process has been a journey, something similar to falling out of the matrix. Realising that nothing is as it seems these days. Technology is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, technology holds the key for man to finally understand himself and to decipher the true nature of reality. On the other hand, it has created a world of illusion that can all too easily deceive us. This album is a record of my ongoing desire to cut through the illusions of modern society and to find the truth. The changing mood of the album reflects this. Moving through confusion and fury at the injustices encountered, to the cathartic reasoning that we all have the power to bring change. Now is the time for people to unite and take control of the future."
