5-generation-descendent of famous singer and revolutionary Salomon Zulzer, The Zulzer legend lives on through 24 year-old music phenomenon Danyal Zulzar. A musical prodigy in early childhood, Danyal’s parents quickly realized their son possessed unnatural musical abilities and swiftly enrolled him in piano lessons at the age of 8. Danyal gave his first major piano recital at the age of 10. Opportunities for higher music education rained upon Danyal, and he gratefully took them all with astonishing results. Studying at the Melbourne Conservatorium in Australia with some of the greatest classical pianists alive today, his already un-natural musical abilities were taken to a whole new level, performing on piano to sold-out concert halls to great critical acclaim. At the end of his studies at the Conservatorium, a highly regarded professor of music stated
“if this is how the decendant of (salmon) zulzer can play the piano, just imagine the power and potential of his voice”
A debate over Danyal’s future in the art of singing raged on behind the doors of the Conservatorium. The professors knew he had enormous potential, but feared starting his singing career before his adult voice had fully developed could risk damaging his voice. And so it was decided that Danyal would wait until the age of 24, when his voice had completely developed, to burst onto the music scene as a singer/song writer. Danyal waited. the world waited. But no more – the wait is over. And finally the world can have an opportunity to experience the music of a new era in popular music, and a voice that “outlasts the ages”.
