Songs on this album were written in Mexico, Denver, San Francisco, and Newburyport MA and maybe a few other places. Most of the songs relate to true stories in the places hey are set. At the time this album was released I was moving from Massachusetts to California and listening to the songs bring me back to those locations. I left a great cover band back in MA (Don''t Call Me Shirley) and I''m solo in Petaluma, CA now with time to focus on my music and think about what I want to do now.
