STORY - "The Flute Fumbler"
Walking into a music store with money saved up for a new guitar, I walked out with a flute! I had never laid a finger on one before but something possessed me and I became determined to play it. As it turns out it is the instrument of my soul.
Adding it to my repertoire of instruments I began compiling original material and performing it in and around the Windsor area. The response was overwhelmingly positive so in July of 2005 I locked myself away in the studio to record my debut album: Into The Night.
ALBUM - Into The Night
Into The Night is a rock album written, recorded, mixed and designed by al yell. It is reflective of his spiritual journey expressed in musical form. It is occasionally political and boasts an air of mild cynicism. However, the listener will realize that a lot of it is 'tongue & cheek' and that al does not exclude himself from the things he sings about.
