Amanda Droste is a gifted singer. Having worked as a reference vocalist for Andre Deyo (writer: "Jenny from the Block," "I'm Glad") and Sony Studios, her talent has not gone unnoticed. In addition to powerful vocal ability, projects for Sony and other various studios in NYC have showcased her writing skills as well. Most recently, her writing was considered for the soundtrack to "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" (starring Lindsay Lohan).
To see her own material created from the ground up, Amanda started work with guitarist Joe Cangemi. Cangemi's unique guitar stylings are the perfect complement to Amanda's melodies and visions. The guitars effortlessly flatter the vocal line, while guest drummer Rod Morgenstein drives things home. They breathe a distinct energy into these songs that sets them apart from any other musical team.
