Musically and lyrically, the CD gives rich perspectives from around the world: from an Appalachian carol, “Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head,” to a Congolese African village’s telling of the story of Lazarus, to the Argentine tango, “Tenemos Esperanza/We Have Hope,” to the ancient Irish air, “Be Thou My Vision.” The focus is international in outreach with a clear vision to bring healing through this music.
The CD is a guitar-based album enhanced with rich, textured orchestrations and a lush, versatile choir woven throughout with the amazing vocal arranging of both Margaret Dorn and John Danny Madden.
