With each new project Jason reinvents himself by exploring new possibilities in his writing and recording techniques.
While most of this album takes a serious approach, "Vegas Baby" provides some comic relief with a look at how certain geological events in Southern California might turn Las Vegas into a beach town. "Make That Light" is also just for kicks. It follows the misadventures of a guy who locked his keys in his condo. By contrast, "Her Sweet Smile" and "Love Only Takes One Shot" are more serious tunes about lost love. The title track leans heavily to the progressive rock side of this collection with it''s complicated arrangement and lyrical mystery.
Each song has it''s own special place on this album, and there are plenty of screaming guitar solos, sweet chords and tight arrangements all around.
