Since the last CD, there has been a certain progress in terms of songwriting, singing and playing which is evident on the album "NOSTALVANIA". It is obvious why he chose NYC for his long term residence as mixed cultural expressions are heard through the whole album. This one is particularly a combination of J-POP, GYPSY, RUSSIAN FOLK, R&B, MIDDLE EASTERN and LATIN music. Again, all songs are played with acoustic guitar with mimimal accompaniment. As you can see the picture on the cover, the whole album was recorded in a horse barn in the Amish town in Pennsylvania.
The 9th track (a sort of Brazilian style) "ANGEL BABY" is the top-selling tune in the internet download sales charts. A Japanese-sung "BRIGHTON BEACH" is about the Russian town in Brooklyn, N.Y. Also, the album got an airplay in Serbia/Montenegro.
