MRSD
MRSD has been together for about two years. The band consists of 2 guitarists, 1 bass player,a drummer and a vocalist. We have played with Cold War, Contra, Thriller, In Memory, Kerria, Forever Lost, Silent Embrace and many more.
Venues we have played include The Whisky, The Alpine, The Loft, The Alamo Restaurant, The Underground, Simi Valley Days, Santa Suzanna Cantina, Harmony Sweet, The Anarchy Library, Club 13, Oxnard Performing Arts Center, City Nights and the Cobalt Café.
We started as a close group of friends that hung out every day. We started MRSD because music was a big part of our lives and we are hoping to influence the future of our style of music.
Some of our influences are: As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Atreyu, It Dies Today, Killswitch Engage, Bleeding Through and Summers End.
After producing 2 demo’s MRSD completed recording their first full length CD in August 2005. It was released for sale in March 2006.
