MD 2020 is a name that was given to me by some O.G''s outta Fairfield, Ca. (on the infamous street of Vel ct.)when I was only 15yrs old. I was back seat in a Coupe De Ville witt my My Boy "T" and they gave me a bottle of MD 20/20 aka Mad Dog 20/20. After 3 minutes the bottle was half gone and I was on buzz when they asked my name. I wuz like: "Yo, I''m Mike Daniel!". They looked at each other, then looked at me and said, from now on your name is MD 2020! -MD 2020 was born!!
I soon dedicated a good portion of my teenage life Robb-n Foolz, Mastering the art of Pickpocketing, Mack-N on Broadz, Dodge-N Hand-Cuffz and Fight-n the police! After a life of crime and struggles, Irealized where my life was heading(down the drain) So I left Cali to live in Washington State for a couple of years to prioritize my future. When I came back, I basically went straight to the penthouse and started writing songs. These songs would later become part of MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N-Bottle of Liquor!
MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N Bottle of Liquor is the VERY 1st project I have ever produced! I started production on this LP in late summer ''04 and completed the album August of ''05! I have never produced a track in my life, but I''m just an extremely fast paced individual that was focused and determined to have an album ready to hit the streets by early ''06! -Schedule met!
I laced this LP with aggressive rhymes, aggressive beats, extremely catchy hooks & phrases! I took a fresh new approach to diversify myself using sharp rhymes with clever and complex production! Hands down, MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N-Bottle of Liquor LP is creatively unique, production is unlike anything you''ve ever heard to date!
