MJ is a hip-hop artist that definitely loves what he does and has a passion for music. Good Music. He writes and produces his own material and recorded and mixed this album in his home studio in Florida. A self-taught musician, he was born and raised in the small city of Pensacola, Florida. MJ has always been creative and started writing poetry at a young age and his love for Hip Hop eventually turned those poems into rhymes.
Fast forward some years and it’s now official. Black Majik Productions is a company that has worked with artist and companies on production. While doing that MJ was upgrading his studio and working on his debut solo album “Now Showing”. The album was the brainchild of MJ alone and he did everything on the album from the cover to the credits. Now it’s independently distributed through Black Majik Productions.
MJ’s style is a reflection of his personality. He is very humble but has a strong belief in his music and talent. He’s not cocky by a long shot. At first glance he’s actually shy and reserved. But once he gets going you’ll never be able to tell that. He’s rocked crowds from Las Vegas’s Palm Hotel to New York’s Club Cheetah. Once you get to know him you see the crazy and funny sides. All of these are rolled into the album and gives it its many moods.
