Starting out his career in Brazil at the age of 16 with one of Bossa Nova''s founding fathers Johnny Alf , the native dummer and percussionist from Belem, Brazil started playing and recording with a number of Brazilian artists such as : Joao de Aquino, ZeZe Motta, Luiz Melodia, Elsa Soares, and many others. He later moved to the United States and after studing at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, he moved to New York and later performed, recorded and toured with Astrud Gilberto, Tania Maria, Larry Coryell, Delmar Brown, Ivan Lins, Leila Peneiro, Joyce, Leo Gandelman and many https://www.tradebit.com has 3 CD''s "Magrus and The Rainforest Band", "The Rainforest Trio" and "Futurezon".
