NOTES
Nashvegas EP was recorded in Nashville in April 04 with the help, brains, and production of Mitch Dane. Mitch is hard-core...not in the goth sense but just in the regular sense. We banged out 3 tunes with 3 totally different styles including the funk of "Just another Day" borrowing the saxiphone skills of Steve from Jars of Clay. Then, you''ve got your almost modern rock sound of FEEL bringing out the slide guitar with crunching harmonies that almost sound off they''re so stellar. Then of course the cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water...roll your eyes if you must...yes it has been covered a copious amount of times...but this time it''s different...I promise.

THE BOYS
Nico: Lead Vocals, guitar, Wurlitzer
Scotty B: Elec. Guitar, Vocals
Pablo Honey: Bass, Vocals
Pappy: Drums, percussion

BIO
The essence of NICO is to shed the pressure of
sounding like a typical mainstream band and
encourage people by creating a unique, playful, and
spiritual experience through their original musical
style. At any given show you may hear loud guitar
anthems, acoustic and playful ballads, as well as
funky grooves that will make you want to "Shake what
you''re mamma gave ya". They''ve sold a total of over
7000 albums independently and continue to play shows
on just about any type of stage you could imagine.

Nico is a four piece band (sometimes five or six,
depending on if the flugelhorn player and fly dancer
show up), consisting of lead guitars by Scotty B.,
vocals/guitars/hammond by Nico, drums/percussion by
Pappy, and Pablo on bass guitar. The band considers
itself a "Regional" act. Though none of them can
really act, they are truly regional as they all live
in different towns, and sometimes states. "New
England based" would probably be most appropriate, as
the "Band Home" continues to change based upon whose
car is actually working and can transport the other
members to practice somewhere else.
