This is the very first time that such a recording of Armenian Church music has been produced with children''s choir and bell choir combination. 21 tracks of Exceptions from Divine Lirurgy of the Armenian Church, Hymns of Armenian Christmas and other Armenian Spiritual melodies.

All titles are given in English, Traditional Armenian, Armenian with English transliteration and Latim if the Latin equivalent exists.

The Junior Choir of Saints Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church

The Junior Choir was organized by Maestro Konstantin Petrossian in 1995. The children learn sacred hymns and music of the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian Church and songs by Armenian and American composers.
From its inception the Junior Choir performed in many special events including singing in New York City, Ellis Island and Providence for the visit of the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin I,
In 2001 the Junior Choir has participated at the Divine Liturgy celebrated in Central Park by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, on the occasion of the 1700th Anniversary of the Christianization of Armenia.
In addition, the Junior Choir has presented concerts in New York''s St. Vartan Cathedral, the Armenian Embassy in Washington, DC, as well as for audiences in Boston, Worcester, Andover, Jamaica Plain, and Montreal.
Since October 1995 the Junior Choir has participated in the Divine Liturgy on the first Sunday of each month as well as for various festive services.


NAREK Bell Choir of St. Mary Armenian Church is the first and the only bell choir in the Armenian Church today. It was founded in 2000 under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Vertanes Kalayjian and Music Director Leon Khoja-Eynatyan. The Choir''s repertoire includes Armenian Church Hymns (Sharagans), Armenian Folk music, American Spirituals, Carols from around the World and popular songs.
These young performers have presented the Armenian culture at the White House; at the Library of Congress, Washington, DC; Central Park, New York City; The Armenian Embassy, Washington, DC; at Christmas Concerts at St. Vartan Cathedral, New York City; The Washington DC Temple Visitor''s Center; Holy Martyrs Armenian Church, Bayside, NY; St. John''s Armenian Church, Detroit, MI; Sts. Sahag and Mesrob Armenian Church, Providence , RI; St. James Armenian Church, Richmond, VA; St. Columba''s Episcopal Church, Washington, DC; First Congregational Church, Cambridge, MA; Armenian Evangelical Church, Manhattan; NY Armenian Home, NY; St. Nersess Armenian Seminary, New Rochelle, NY and The Cooper Union Hall, New York City.

The Bell Choir is named after St. Gregory of Narek a 10th century prominent church father, poet, musician and mystic.
