A former bassist in Tabula Rasa (One Day Savior Recordings / featured on Deep Elm Records'' Emo Diaries compilation series), jazz radio disc jockey at WDUQ-FM, show promoter and tour manager, Origen aka Will Stanton is an independent DIY-style artist who recognizes the importance of community and who needs the support of the people who enjoy his music. He hopes they will try to get other people to listen, talk it up to their friends and continue to create a buzz.
He''s been playing shows in various bands for over 10 years, performing as Origen aka Will Stanton since February 2003. Origen has shared the stage with all sorts of bands and groups from all kinds of genres, playing shows in Pittsburgh and throughout the Tri-State area.
