When I first met Paata Andriadze in June 2004, during the soundcheck of my first concert at Turtle Lake in Tbilisi, Georgia, I was blown away by this great musician''s beautiful piano playing. To me, Paata is Georgia''s best kept secret!
We''ve worked together many times since that first gig and I still get blown away by his seemingly effortless style.
When Paata agreed to spend some time in my studio recording several different songs, I felt very honoured, and so ''The Mansarde Sessions'' album was born.
I hope that one day soon we will record a ''sequel'' to this unique album!
