HiFi is a group of independent musicians brought together by me, Brian MacLeod. We''ve been playing together since 2003. Each artist has an accomplished solo career and brings unique musicianship to add dimension to the songs I write. On the album "Redneck Riviera" we also recorded "Back Order Blues" by Michael Austin, who plays clarinet in the band and has a great CD himself ("Thick ''n Thin"). When we perform live we also cover everyone from Elvis and the Beatles to Dvorak and Duke Ellington; so you can see the difficulty in putting a genre label on our work. The album covers everything from the absurd to the sublime, so sit back and enjoy!
