songs that pay homage to the genius of Sam Cooke, Clyde McPhatter, Harvey Fuqua & the Moonglows along with numerous other soulful pioneering forefathers of American song. The lone contemporary composition featured is John Legend’s “It Don’t Have to Change.” This wistful tune is utilized as an inventive bridge back into time celebrating to the good old songs of yesteryear.
