Details:
The three-man band from Venice Beach celebrates their fourth year with the release of The Venice Reprise, Part One. The first of two EP''s to be released this year, this album highlights the evolution of the eclectic, harmony-driven songwriting that has emerged from a grueling back story and undying perseverance.

Recorded at the Musicians'' Institute in Los Angeles, The Reprise is like a deep breath after bizarre challenges cropped up during the band''s last three years of touring. Revisiting cornerstones from their first LP like "The Unknown Show" and "Dogs and Swine", the Reprise introduces new tracks from their upcoming LP, and a haunting rendition of Leonard Cohen''s ageless Hallelujah. John Caelan, Mikel Farber, and Jourdan D''Andrea present acoustic guitars, piano, sax, and organic rhythms as the backbone of lyrically-intense socio-political songwriting brought home in rich, haunting three-part harmonies.

Two years after the release of their first album: The Unknown Show, the growth of the band is evident. Recording the Show while on a shoe-string tour of the nation, Quebb almost saw a premature end when lead singer/songwriter John Caelan suffered a major head injury days after finishing recording the album in the high desert above Santa Fe. Undaunted, the three continued, releasing the album and booking show after show, living in a mid-city studio together for a year as John recovered. Finally, they returned to their homes in Venice Beach, and The Reprise is the hallmark of that return.
