Poker Bot Software
A poker bot is a program used to automatically play poker in an Internet poker game. It is programmed to play in a certain way based on mathematical formulas. Hour after hour, as long as the game continues, the poker bot plays tirelessly on.
What are the advantages?
You do not need to know anything about poker to win. Simply let the Poker Bot rake pot after pot while you take a nap or go out with the dog.
How do I set up the bot?
1. Run Texas Bot.
2. Open a fixed limit Texas table.
3. Turn on all chat options (dealer, cards etc.)
4. Lean back and enjoy.
How does Texas Bot calculate my chances to win?
When Texas Bot has collected information about your cards, your position, your opponents' bets etc, the calculations may begin. The betting pattern of the first opponent is fed into the neural network, which is trained to assume the probability of one opponent's 101 each hand strengths (0%-100%). TB performs this procedure for all opponents and picks out only the 1-3 strongest opponents. THB stores these values into a hand-strength probability-table.
Now it's feasible to calculate the probability that an opponent has a certain pocket hand. ie. If we suppose that our opponent has JJ in the Flop, and calculate that he at that time would have a handstrength of 30%, then we can, thanks to the hand-strength probability-table, find out the probability that our opponent has JJ. TB iterates these comparisions with all remaining cards and generates a card probability-table for the same as before 1-3 strongest opponents.
Finally TB has one, still very time consuming procedure left; to evaluate all possible card outcomes, for the strongest opponents and for the next betting round. All outcomes for an opponent are weighted proportionally with the card probability-table. The result is calculated with the formula; Win-Loss+Tie/2 divided by all outcomes. This gives us a pretty optimized result of your chances to win.
