Julie is a classically trained musician who has been playing the piano since the age of eight. Her love for piano and a variety of musical genres drove her to explore songwriting and singing in her mid-twenties. To stay as close as possible to music in her everyday life, Julie completed all of her formal studies in music, graduating with a BA from UCLA and a masters degree in piano performance from USC.
