Thanks to their fans for voting them #1 out of 250 national bands, John recently got the chance to describe this project in an interview with https://www.tradebit.com and Relix Magazine''s editor, Dean Budnick, in which he mentions the influence of Baltimore music scene as well the support of local radio stations like WTMD. The song, Trouble, currently played on the station, earned runner-up status in Relix''s January 2011 Jam-off contest, winning the band advertising space online and in Relix''s print magazine.
Sun King features John on guitar, piano, and vocals, Tom Haller on drums, David Wright on bass, as well as a revolving cast of talented musicians from area bands and those abroad.
