Because of my long experiences with emotional pain and suffering, I finally reached a point where I said to myself, "Enough!"
Through my willingness to choose to be happy, I''ve been shown that I am the only one creating my life; no one else is to blame and only self-forgiveness is necessary. What is necessary, for me, is to take full responsibility for creating everything and everyone in my life. By accepting this responsibility, I have taken back my own power and am applying it, daily, to consciously creating my life on my terms no matter what happens to me or around me.
I''m no longer a victim. No one can cause me to be, do or feel anything I don''t choose to. It also makes me very aware of my choices and the possible consequences. Just living in this present moment makes my life exciting and peaceful.
So, I write songs now about Joy and Love and the wonders of Life. You know, the way we feel when we hug a child or behold a sunset or give generously of ourselves to another or express our own oft-denied creative Divinity.
These songs touch something within me that loves to be touched. They give me courage when I''m afraid and inspire me when I''m down. The beauty of the melodies kind of eases itself into my heart and works its'' magic. The lyrics remind me I really can enjoy every day and create my own personal heaven right here, right now.
My hope is that you will experience your own true self through my songs. When you listen to my music and feel inspired or let a tear fall or sing-a-long, my purpose will be fulfilled and I thank you for listening.
