Hailing from Bend, Oregon, Overdub The Radio combines the reggae styles of Bob Marley, Sublime and Long Beach Dub All Stars with the pop presence of Michael Franti, Train and Jack Johnson. The band is comprised of Cole Gaines (Vocals), Dominick Hurley (Guitar, Vocals), Brendan Kent (Drums, Keyboards, Vocals) and Mack Powers (Bass), all of whom are high school age. This EP, written by Hurley, Gaines and Kent and produced by Hurley and Kent captures the spirit of summertime with cool guitar licks, smooth vocals and up-beat drums. It depicts the perfect day at the beach or just laying by the pool.
