Surprise Asteroid is proud to present their debut album, "It''s Time To Run". It was promised to be finished before 2011. That promise was kept, even in the face of numerous and painful hurdles including lost tracks, lack of funds, and of course, the old 9-to-5.
Started in 2010 by songwriters J. Adams and G. Reigner, Surprise Asteroid sought to simplify the band experience while continuing to write solid, melodic music. A. Metzger was called in from a previous group (1 Up On Me) to fill out the percussion section and has surpassed all expectations with hard hitting and perfectly selected rhythms. Together as a true team, they powered through every obstacle to pour out emotion, honesty, and more hours of hard work than is able to be counted.
Surprise Asteroid''s debut effort was forged in an amazing studio in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and contains 12 tracks. Nearly 45 minutes of rock-your-socks-off but totally accessible songs. Enjoy!
