Since 2003, the David Brothers Band has become one of the most recognized and respected professional jazz ensembles in the southeastern United States. Straight-ahead standards, fusion and world music from Chick Corea and Pat Metheny, and, most recently, the music of electric bass master Jaco Pastorious comprise the band''s wide-ranging repertoire. In the past five years, the group has performed alongside and played host to many jazz greats including Scotty Barnhart, Brad Mehldau, Fred Wesley, Jabo Starks, Karrin Allyson, Joshua Redman, and Chris Potter. This album consists of live recordings of some of the band''s greatest moments from 2003-2010.
