After years of preparation, it’s time for the comeback to begin. Gaining a sizable local following, The Comeback Season is looking to go nowhere but up. The band, filled with members of Hampton, VA group known as The Avenue added singer, Sam Patterson and drummer, Dana Scobey to form in early 2010 and immediately began writing and recording their debut EP. The band teamed up with producer/writer/fellow musician, Thomas Leahy to refine their sound to a level that none of the members had yet reached in their previous projects. The songs that followed were stuffed full of hooks from start to finishing while also following model of straight pop-punk and rock influences with both thoughtful and fun lyrical themes. After a year of hard work, the band finally released their EP titled “Timing is Everything” in February of 2011. From here The Comeback Season hopes to expand from their local following into the national circuit.
