I asked Melanie where my keys were at and she said still in the door. I thought of this song when I went to retrieve my keys. I have a Jeep though not a truck!! 19 BEERS TO TULSA - Wrote this about my friend Johnny A''vila who got a divorce and drank "19 Beers To Tulsa" on his way to see his brother back in 1989. BUD AND CROWN - I wrote this at first Budweiser and Jack but since the Legends song has a Jack Daniel reference I changed it. This song is about me. ;) HERE AND NOW - Wrote this song from an e-mail I got which included the words Here and Now. TOP HAT BAR - Our favorite little bar in Hutch. Shiela is the bar owner. CHANGE AIN’T EASY - Mel drinks Bud bottles and I drink Bud cans, she smokes and I don''t. Shotgun Sons(country band) did the original demo for this last January. This is the first demo I had ever done. LEGENDS - Originally was called Southern Legends but I changed the title because of Tim McGraws Southern Voice. When I had this song re-recorded I also changed the lines from"Stevie Ray Vaughan Pride and Joy...Pretty Woman Was Sung by Roy" to "Stevie Ray Vaughan Pride and Joy...Double Trouble Rocked That Joint"!
